How to study online
The course structure will be presented to you and online resources available. You may be required to "attend" live lectures or see recorded lessons when it suits you. There are dates for the submission of assignments. Lessons, lectures, chat rooms, message boards, and assignment submission forms etc will all become available to you.
How do you take exams online?
There may be a time period in which you have to complete a test. Others may be open book. Some exams are in the form of essay assignments.
What academic/technical support is provided?
Most online schools provide technical, academic and social support, however some is during business hours only. You can get support from other students on forums and in interactive "classrooms."
What equipment do you need?
You will need a computer and Internet connection. Some courses will require specific software, which can usually be downloaded for free.
Can you start the course at any point in the year?
Almost. Each course has a number of intake times throughout the year. For example September, February and May.
How long do I have to complete my course material?
The courses are structured so that you have to complete assignments within each trimester. You must complete your assignments on time to pass the course.
Will your degree certificate state that it was earned online?
Generally the certificate does not state the mode of study only the degree attained however it is mentioned in your transcripts.
When can I access my course material?
Anytime after you have paid your fees and registered.
Do I attend an actual graduation ceremony?
Yes, you have the option to do so.
How much will it cost to study online?
Studying online is slightly cheaper than going to a traditional campus.

Yes, so long as the appropriate authorities accredit your online institution.
How long does it take to get an online degree?
You can customize your course load. It can take 2 to 20 years to complete a B.A. Accelerate your studies by: transferring equivalent credits; doing tests to get course credits and seeing if you can skip minor subjects.
Will I still need text-books?
